The Royal Family's go to beauty tips and tricks and how you can do the same

Nobody in this world is perfect but, let's be honest, the women of the British Royal Family always look pretty flawless. When we see pictures of the likes of Kate Middleton or Meghan Markle many of us stop and think: 'Wow - they look beautiful'.

In order to look this good all the time the ladies seem to rely on their own beauty knowledge, as well as placing a lot of trust in their personal makeup artists. It must be hard to be expected to look perfect all the time for every single public appearance, but they manage to pull it off with grace.

Luckily some of their tips and tricks have been revealed over the years, so we've rounded up some of the best beauty hacks the royals use to ensure they're always at the best they can be. Here are just some tips that could help you to get that special royal glow (you'll just have to cope without the tiara!)

It's been widely reported that the Duchess of Cambridge applied her own wedding day makeup, and why wouldn't you? You'd really want to make those final touches on the most special day of your life.

Apparently she had some professional assistance on hand in the form of Bobbi Brown pro, Hannah Martin. It was said the secret to her natural-looking eyes was a three-step trick she used by applying three different shades of eyeshadow.

According to Town and Country Magazine, she applied Ivory all over the eyelid, followed by Rockstar on the lower lid and then used a touch of Slate in the crease before blending. The shades may have changed since then.

It looks as though Meghan Markle has picked up a few tips and tricks from her makeup artists over the years when she's been on set, as she's named some popular favourites as her must-have products over the years.

One of them was NARS Blush in Orgasm, and she even dubbed it as one of her top five beauty items that she simply can't live without in an interview with Beauty Banter. She told Beauty Banter the product offers "a perfect rosy flush tone that brightens the face."

Never mind the gym - if you want the Markle glow, maybe the secret is trying to smile a little more! Back in 2014 Meghan told Birchbox : "I do facial exercises from one of my favourite aestheticians, Nicola Joss, who basically has you sculpt your face from the inside out.

"I swear it works, as silly as you may feel. On the days I do it, my cheekbones and jawline are way more sculpted."

If you're wondering what Meghan keeps in her handbag, one item is probably the Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment with SPF 15.

"I have searched high and low and tried every kind of lip balm but this is the very best," she once told Beauty Banter. "Soft, kissable, buttery lips. I swear by it."
